Submit your ESOS Action Plan, detailing planned energy-saving actions, dates of planned implementation, predictive kWh savings and calculation methodology.
The action plan is intended to require consideration of which actions from the ESOS audit (or alternative compliance routes) to carry out before the next ESOS assessment, as well as to plan future actions for implementing energy savings and making a public commitment to them.
A board-level director must sign off the ESOS Action Plan, which must be submitted on time via the ESOS compliance system and comply with the Environment Agency’s guidance for ESOS Action Plans. With ongoing annual reviews requiring comment of performance against plan, the ESOS Action Plan must be robust in its technical assessments and calculation methodology.
