London Security’s commitment to safety and sustainability

London Security is a leading force in the fire protection and security industry, employing over 1,600 people and serving more than 290,000 customers globally. As a trusted leader in the field, the company is dedicated to sustainability and corporate responsibility.

McGrady Clarke’s partnership with London Security has been crucial in navigating the complex UK Climate-related Financial Disclosures (UK CFD) legislation and ESOS Phase 3 regulations. This collaboration has also included Global Carbon Footprint Assessments (CFAs) mandated by UK CFD for the 2022 and 2023 financial years, demonstrating their dedication to environmental transparency and compliance.

Improving the quality of UK CFD reporting

The partnership initially focused on completing UK CFD in 2023 and has since transitioned into an ongoing annual review process, focusing on improving disclosures each year.

As part of the UK CFD framework, organisations are required to disclose their governance surrounding climate-related risks. To strengthen London Security’s governance, risk management and strategy reporting, McGrady Clarke is currently supporting the establishment of a Climate Risk Committee. This initiative, as part of their ongoing improvements, will add value to their reporting and reinforce their commitment to sustainability.
